ISO 37001 Transition

LinkedIn Post - The ISO 37001: 2016 standard has recently been updated to the 2025 version. UKAS released their transition policy on the 30 May 2025 which can be read here https://lnkd.in/edY8AsSR

Following this publication the key dates are as follows:

Date Milestone / Activity
28 February 2025 Publication of ISO 37001:2025
30 November 2025 Certification Bodies to submit self-declaration and supporting evidence
30 December 2025 All desktop transition assessment activity to be completed
28 February 2026 All UKAS transition decisions completed
28 February 2027 Certification Bodies to ensure all ABMS clients transitioned to ISO 37001:2025

As a client of URS, the important date to consider will be the 28 February 2027. This means, during your next scheduled audit you may be assessed on your readiness to transition. You will be contacted by your URS representative in due course on the next steps that are needed.
