The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) is the world's association of Conformity Assessment Accreditation Bodies and other bodies   interested in conformity assessment in the fields of management systems, products, services, personal and other similar programmes of conformity assessment. TAF (The Taiwan Accreditation Foundation) is the only body in Taiwan recognised by Government for the accreditation of conformity assessment against international standards. The URS Holdings selected TAF for accreditation as the BSMI of Taiwan has made it a requirement for all companies if their products want to be certified for the CNS Mark or Regulatory Product Inspection.

RJC : RESPONSIBLE JEWELLERY COUNCIL

In the jewellery supply chain, RJC certification programs are intended to promote ethical business practices. The RJC Standards Committee and several chances for public input and commentary were among the many stakeholders that worked together to set the strict standards that serve as its foundation. Supporting their individual Certification programs are two RJC standards -  RJC Code of Practices and  RJC Chain of Custody

BETTER COTTON CHAIN OF CUSTODY

Better Cotton, the largest cotton sustainability program in the world, has unveiled a special traceability solution for the textile and fashion sectors. The technology, which took three years to create, will make it possible to see how cotton moves through the supply chain. In order to guarantee proper tracking and disclosure of raw material origins, the Better Cotton Platform will collaborate with member brands and retailers such as H&M Group, Marks & Spencer, Walmart, Target, Bestseller, Gap Inc., and C&A. The purpose of this project is to address possible harm that businesses may cause to the environment and human rights.

Better Cotton is launching a new product called traceable Better Cotton, which gives brands and retailers the guarantee that the items they carry originate from a particular nation. By doing this, supply chain visibility will be improved, enabling them to include information into their due diligence procedures. Better Cotton aims to provide verifiable claims for consumers and businesses, compensate farmers for field-level progress, enable country-level Life Cycle Assessments to determine the environmental impact of Better Cotton, and scale the availability and sourcing granularity of traceable Better Cotton to support an Impact Marketplace. This is not the case with Better Cotton's Mass Balance Chain of Custody approach, which guarantees that the quantity of cotton produced never surpasses the quantity sold.

A Chain of Custody Standard published by Better Cotton mandates that suppliers fulfil specific requirements in order to engage in trade.
